Sometimes I am Forgetful

I am constantly making things and giving them away or selling them without taking any photos. I get lost in the moment of making the art and then moving it right along to its "forever home" and then am left with no record of it. I know, I know: document document document. I went to art school, I should know better.

Luckily, once in a while I give something I never photographed to a friend (like this felt necklace I made for Ann to wear to an Oscars party) and then I make them take a photo of it for me. Felt jewelry is a new direction for me but it seems an obvious leap and it is easy to make big sculptural and statement necklaces without them being too heavy. My next step is to combine tin with felt!
