Wool Poppies
Along with my new shibori dyed scarves, I am experimenting with lighter weight silk and wool scarves that could be worn in summer. (If summer ever hits the pacific northwest, that is.) With just small amounts of wool these scarves are very light and drape well.
I just love dyeing the silk and then picking out wool colors for the designs. The photo of this blue one is before the scarf was finished or completely blocked out.
Today I am going to make a much wider one that is more like a shawl.
